USJF helps high school against disruptions by gay activists

With the upholding of Proposition 8 by the California State Supreme Court, homosexual activists across the state have been conducting protests and targeting opponents of same-sex marriage.

In one incident, a California high school was targeted by homosexual activists after two students became disgruntled because a school administrator counseled them to remain focused on their studies since there was only one week of school remaining in the school year.

Even though this administrator had also counseled other students to remain focused on their school work because of final exams that were going to be held during the last week of school, the two students, who were in a homosexual relationship, felt they were being singled out because of their relationship. As a result, a homosexual activist contacted the high school and threatened to go to “…the school board and get lawyers involved…”

Because of these threats, a school administrator sought the assistance of USJF and a legal memorandum regarding the right of the school to maintain proper decorum on its campus was provided to the administrator.

After meeting with the parents of one of the students along with two representatives of two homosexual organizations, it was discovered that there were no discriminatory acts against the teenagers on the basis of their sexual orientation.

The homosexual activists advised the school that there would be further repercussions from what they perceived to be alleged sexual orientation discrimination.

USJF has volunteered to provide any necessary legal services to the school should the need arise and is monitoring the situation.
