USJF Files Three Separate Freedom of Information Act Requests with the State Department
in 2020, USJF published an investigative report into Hunter Biden’s un-registered lobbying work on behalf of Ukrainian interests, including his lobbying of the State Department on behalf of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company. Using the findings in the report, USJF filed three separate Freedom of Information Act requests with the State Department, to uncover with whom Hunter Biden was meeting at the State Department, and what specifically was discussed. After being repeatedly stonewalled by State, USJF filed a lawsuit, asking a federal court to compel the Department to turn over the documents and records requested.
